Same bahahaha. It’s literally a card in a game.

Brenda – In the base game, the only card that dishes out Curse cards is the Witch. Other expansions include cards that pass on Curse cards as well. Curse cards are negative Victory points at the end of the game and clog up a player’s deck during play since they aren’t useful for anything.

I had the same question as Ralph. I purchased the game and discovered the witch and curse cards and don’t care to use them. I am assuming we don’t need to use the curse cards either? Haven’t played it yet to know if these cards are important.

Ralph – Absolutely it can be played without the Witch. In each game, only 10 sets of cards are used. Players can either randomize which 10 those are or they can choose which ones they want. If you’d like to throw all the Witch cards away, you can completely do that and still get tons of fun out of the game.

On the cover there is a card with a witch on it…can the game be played without that card?

Our daughter is seven and can join in with this game with little trouble, though she doesn't win as often. She likes to keep the game going and build up her hand, but she did skunk me one time. Easily double my points. 🙂 And of course, there are expansions (new cards) if you really like the game. They can add some variety and a little more strategy to the mix. Great review. (and seeing someone play really does help)
